Found at last

I have bought numerous mattresses over the years and thankfully have finally found one that gives me a great night sleep every night.
Supportive and cosy at the same time. I had back surgery 20 years ago and have struggled with chronic back pain ever since. Often waking up already in pain. That has all changed. My bed is my favorite place to be. Since getting this mattress I have been able to start some exercise again.

100 Night Trial

All mattresses sold at cloud9mattress.com.au come with a 100 Night Trial period.  

If you are not happy with the mattress for any reason within the mattresses qualifying trial period, you can swap it over for another mattress in our range or return it and get a full refund. However, we do suggest to our customers, to sleep on the new mattress for a minimum of 14 nights before deciding on an exchange. This ensures the body has had some time to adjust to the new mattress.

All returned mattresses are donated to our charity partner the Salvos to help those in need. Return shipping is free in all Metro location (Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Hobart & Perth). If you are outside these metro locations, we will try to locate a charity in your area who can pick up your mattress. If we are unable to locate a charity that services your area, then you will need to arrange at your cost, to get the mattress to them or to a nominated depot in your closest metro location. 

As all 100 Night Trial returned mattresses go to charity, to live another life, they must be in an as-new condition with no damage, stains, marks or rips. All the customers should retain the original packaging of the mattress at least for 100 nights to use it during the return process.  We highly recommend using a mattress protector with your mattress. 

If you choose to swap over the mattress, then you will need to pay the difference in price if it is more expensive alternatively we will refund you the difference in price if it is cheaper.

Please note the trial is limited to one mattress swap or return per household, delivery address or order. If you need to purchase multiple mattresses, we recommend buying one first to make sure you are happy then placing another order.

20 Year Warranty

Our entire Cloud 9 Mattress range is backed up by 20 Years Warranty. 

We offers a warranty against faulty workmanship and /or faulty materials commencing on the date the mattress and/or base was originally delivered to, or collected by the purchaser and is valid only to the original purchaser of the product as indicated on the original sales invoice. This warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear, or damage caused by abuse, misuse or negligence. Failure to comply with manufacturer's care and maintenance instructions will void your warranty.

Mattress Warranty Information

In addition to the other exclusions stated on this page, Chiropedic specifically excludes from the warranty;

  • Small manufacturing irregularities that do not affect the performance of the bed.
  • Comfort issues relating to the customers preferences.
  • Fit of manchester items.
  • Handles, as handles are not intended to be used to lift, turn or transport the product.

All mattresses should be rotated on a regular basis. Single sided mattresses need just to be rotated around 180 degrees. 2 sided mattresses need to be flipped over and rotated around 180 degrees. We recommend that a mattress should be rotated every 2 weeks in the first month after the purchase and then done once a month for the duration of the warranty period. Failure to rotate your mattress will void the warranty.

During the warranty period, if Chiropedic is satisfied that material or workmanship is faulty, it will repair or replace the product at its option. However, the warranty period will not be extended or changed as a result of repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty or otherwise. Chiropedic will cover transport costs arising from repair or replacement under the terms of this Warranty during the first 12 months of the Warranty period. After 12 months transportation costs are to be met by the purchaser.

Chiropedic reserves the right to substitute material of equal quality on the particular items being repaired or replaced if identical material is not available at the time of repair or replacement.

Body Impressions, (small indentations) are normal on the surface of any new mattress whilst the upholstery filling is leveling to a final position and getting used to your body contours. This does not constitute a manufacturing fault. On a pillowtop mattress, up to 40mm height loss is considered normal. On a non pillowtop mattress, up to 30mm height loss is considered normal.

Base Warranty Information

Chiropedic mattresses are suitable for slat bases. There are important tips to know when considering a slat base to compliment your mattress.

Correct mattress support is an important element in providing long life for the mattress. Mattresses always follow the contour of whatever they rest on. If placed on any base that dips down, even under the load of one or two sleepers, the guarantee may be voided. Bases dipping or sagging allow the mattress to sag, causing the top cover to wrinkle.

Sleepers may experience roll together through inadequate support. Some slat/mesh type bases may require a centre rail and a leg to the floor to prevent dipping or sagging, particularly in Double, Queen and King sizes. Timber slats must be a smooth finish to prevent splinter and scuffing damage and be securely fastened to the frame at each end. A breathable insulating pad or blanket over the slats is advisable. Slats over 14cm wide may cause mildew by not allowing moisture to evaporate sufficiently. Solid panel timber bases must have sufficient air holes drilled to permit dispersal of moisture and prevent mildew. Bases must always be firm, even and supportive. Gaps between uncovered slats must not exceed 10cm, anything exceeding this does not ably support the spring system and can void the warranty.

A base that is too hard, too soft, not supportive, or restricts air circulation may damage your mattress and void this guarantee.

General Information

The company reserves the right not to handle items for repair if, in its opinion, they have been tampered with or misused by the purchaser beyond reasonable wear or if the product has been physically damaged intentionally or due to accident and/or neglect: including burns, cuts, water damage, mould, stains, soiled by blood or urine and if it is unsanitary. Use of a mattress protector is advisable at all times.

Mattress and base specifications, including appearance, may change without notice.

This warranty is in addition to, and not in substitution for, the right of the purchaser conferred by the trade practices act and/or the legislation of any State or Territory.

Warranty Claim Process

PLEASE NOTE – For the Health and Safety of our Delivery Team and Factory Team, any mattress scheduled to be returned to our factory under warranty must be sanitised and cleaned prior to the collection date. A certificate as evidence that the mattress has been professionally sanitised and cleaned from a reputable cleaning company must be emailed to us at [email protected] prior to any collection being booked. Failure to provide this certificate will result in the warranty claim being cancelled.

If you would like to make a warranty claim please follow this process:

  • We will contact you within 2 business days to process the warranty claim and book in pick up and delivery dates.
  • Once processed we will post out to you a plastic mattress bag for you to pack the mattress into before delivery. When packaging the mattress in the plastic bag please seal the open end with sticky tape so it is fully closed.
  • Before the pick up date a certificate as evidence that the mattress has been professionally sanitised and cleaned from a reputable cleaning company must be emailed to us at [email protected] Failure to do this before the pick up date will result in us canceling the pick up.
  • On the scheduled date of pick up please have the mattress ready for pick up, fully packed & sealed in the plastic bag, at the front door of your premises ready for our delivery team to pick up. Due to current government enforced social distancing rules the delivery team will not go into the premises and will not help you with moving or packing the mattress if it is not ready as per the instructions above.
  • On the scheduled date of re delivery we will provide a contactless delivery service were we will delivery your goods to the front door of your premise and contact you to advise the goods have been delivered and ready for you to take inside. 
  • Care and Maintenance
    • All Cloud 9 mattresses must be rotated on a regular basis. Single-sided mattresses need to be spun around 180 degrees (head to toe). Double-sided mattresses (where the sleep surface is identical on both the top and the bottom, ie. pillow top on the top on both sides of the mattress) need to be flipped over and spun around 180 degrees.
    • All Cloud 9 mattresses must be rotated once per month for the duration of the warranty period. We recommend that you rotate your mattress twice in the first month after the purchase and then monthly thereafter as outlined above.
    • All Cloud 9 mattresses MUST have a waterproof mattress protector on them at all times. This will help keep the mattress in a sanitary condition and prevent stains and moisture from bodily fluids reaching the mattress. Should moisture reach the mattress, it will likely result in the warranty being voided due to the unsanitary state of the mattress.
    • All Cloud 9 mattresses MUST be placed on suitable supportive bases which are not too hard or too soft. Bases need to provide consistent support with un-covered gaps not exceeding 10cm and covered gaps not exceeding 14cm. They must also not restrict air circulation in any way. Failure to comply with this may damage your mattress and void your warranty. We recommend a specially designed Chiropedic Bedding base.For further information on a suitable base, please refer to our website.

    All mattresses are made to order and we require 3 business days from date of order to manufacture and have the stock ready for dispatch.

    All mattresses are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse and will be delivered to you based on the average delivery times below:
    • Melbourne metro within 3 business days of dispatch.
    • Sydney, Adelaide & Canberra metro within 10 business days of dispatch.
    • All other areas within 14 business days of dispatch.

    Within 1 business day of when your order is placed, we will contact you by either phone or email confirming your order has been received and is booked in with your area’s third-party delivery partner. Once dispatched, the third-party delivery partner will send you, via sms and email, a link so you can track the shipment.

    A FEW IMPORTANT T'S & C'S

    • Delivery Service: The delivery service is to the Front Door of a Ground Floor dwelling ONLY. Depending on your location/delivery address you may be asked to help the driver to unload the mattress from the back of the truck/ute/van. If you require the mattress to be taken inside, upstairs or you cannot provide help at the time of delivery then please let us know immediately on receipt of this order so we can look into what other services are available in your location. Please note, other delivery services may have a delivery cost and we will inform you of this before it’s confirmed on your order.
    • Business Days are defined as Monday to Friday & exclude public holidays.
    • Cancellation of your Order: Any cancellations of an order once the goods are produced or the item(s) are/is a stock item, the deposit of 20% will be forfeited with all other monies paid being refunded in line with our company refund policy. Alternatively, should an order be cancelled prior to the goods being produced, all monies paid minus a $50 termination fee will be refunded in line with our company refund policy.
    • Payments: All orders with an outstanding balance must be paid in full 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date. No cash, cheques or credit card payments are accepted at the time of delivery. If a balance is owing 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date, you will receive a phone call from our Payments Centre, where you can opt to make the payment via credit card over the phone. Alternatively, you can go into a store and finalise your outstanding balance. If your order is not paid in full 48 hours before your scheduled delivery, your delivery not be scheduled and your order will be placed on hold until payment is finalised.
    • Transit Concerns: Goods are inspected prior to being loaded and again at the time of delivery and will be supplied at an acceptable quality and match the description provided at the time of sale. Should you have any quality or transit concerns, please email our Delivery customer care team at [email protected]
    • Out of Stock: If any part of your order is out of stock, the free delivery will still be applicable to those items if delivered separately at a later date. A sales team member will inform you when the item can be completed and when the next available delivery date will be. **Please note that all Regional and interstate orders must be shipped in one shipment.
